Fire – Healer,Transformer & Liberator of the Light within!
One of a series of preparatory touch drawings for a painting I am currently working on, taken from recent journey teachings on the elements.
These journeys have been part of the body of teachings around which the Initiation painting series is based.
To help me further embrace my relationship with Fire and embody the teachings, these initial maps where bridged in nearly 100 degree heat in my studio (which in the height of summer with the fans off, windows closed and candles on is akin to a sweat lodge!)
It was an intense and trans-formative session that continued the work of my journey, culminating in a charcoal study and the beginnings of a painting that I shall share soon.
